Rooted in the scriptures, we are passionately committed to building up the church through the integration of sound Doctrine, transformative Relationships, and heartfelt Worship. At our essence, we exist to display the beauty of Christ, recognizing that our unique synthesis of theology and Spirit-empowered ministry equips us to authentically reflect His glory and serve His kingdom with enthusiasm and integrity.
Sam is the worship leader at Rock Church. He began leading worship in November of 2021. Coming from a family that sang & recorded in a southern gospel trio, he got his start in music at a young age. Sam’s father served in their home church by providing the sound systems and running sound for services. This is where Sam picked up his love and passion for AV. Sam went on to travel in Live Production for 10 years before landing in the Quad Cities. His passion sits firmly in honoring our Lord Jesus Christ with his gifts and talents. Sam is responsible for both our worship team and music selection, as well as systems director for the Audio Visual Department.
